MN SFPE 2nd Annual Fire Protection Symposium
We are thrilled to announce the 2nd Annual Fire Protection Symposium hosted by the MN Chapter of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers! The event will be held on Thursday, August 1st, 2024.

- ITM Sprinkler Testing Requirements - Alyssa Dunn, Dyne
- Live Side by Side Burn Demonstration - Presented by NFSA
- Seismic Protection for Sprinkler Systems - Kevin Hall, AFSA
- Technical Core Competency and the Roles of the Fire Protection Engineer - Glynis Thompson, SFPE
- Sprinkler Performance and Effectiveness - Jon Nisja, NFSA
Attendees will receive a certificate for up to 6 hours* of CE credit for:
- Automatic Fire Sprinkler Contractor License - Managing Employee
- Commercial Building Inspector Certification
- Journeyman Automatic Fire Sprinkler Fitter License
- NICET Certifications
- Professional Engineer
- UDC - Construction Inspector Certification
*Credits depend on your license

We are offering three levels of sponsorship this year. Please select your sponsorship level as a registration type. Gold and Platinum sponsors include a PDH certificate for one individual, and we will advertise our sponsors throughout the event.

We already have a few exhibitors lined up, but are actively looking for more. We are limited to approximately 11 spots that are quickly filling. The fee for a table will be $300 and we will be accepting payment through Paypal.
Travel:
We will be hosting this session at the Courtyard by Marriott Edina Bloomington, so make sure to plan arrival and drive time accordingly. Please contact us if you need a room to utilize our group rate.

Morning sessions - 8:15-11:30 a.m.

Afternoon sessions - 1:00 p.m. -4:30 p.m.
