Hello SFPE Minnesota Members & Friends,

We are excited to take a field trip to Travelers Fire Laboratory in downtown Saint Paul!  Join us dinner, drinks, and a some live demonstrations.  We hope to see you there!  Dinner and beverages will be provided.  The tour will begin shortly after a member's business portion has been completed.


Registration closed at 12pm on 11/17/25.  Please email us directly if you would like to try to still join as we have a few extra spots still available but would need to approve it through security to get you added to the list.

Home Office Property Specialist
Davit Vetter is a Home Office Property Specialist at Travelers, where he applies his engineering background to help clients identify and manage property risk. He works closely with underwriters and loss-control teams to deliver practical solutions that enhance property resilience and business continuity.

Presentation Description:
The fire laboratory in downtown Saint Paul offers participants a hands-on look at real-world fire protection systems used throughout the industry. Visitors can observe live demonstrations such as fire pump testing, sprinkler system activation and flow, and fire protection strategies for flammable liquid storage rooms. This tour provides a unique opportunity to see how code requirements and standards come to life—moving beyond the textbook and into practical, working applications.

Dress Code:
Please wear appropriate footwear for the fire lab.  There is open metal grating in the wet lab so avoid wearing heels.
